Our history
When you work in the family business, child labor laws do not apply: I started helping my dad with his flooring company when I was about 12 years old, which made me the third generation in our family to work on hardwood floors.
I worked for my dad until I was about 20, when I moved to Phoenix, Arizona. Here, I spent 13 years working for the two most prominent wood flooring companies in the valley, both of which provided flooring services exclusively to high-end, luxury home owners in Arizona and the western region of the United States.
When I moved back to Minnesota in 2012, I realized I had spent over 20 years in the hardwood flooring business. I decided it was about time to step-up and start a company of my own. I talked my little brother Arthur into working with me, too.
Raven Hardwood Flooring is the culmination of my experience and know-how. I’ve spent over half my life working beside and learning from an array of flooring specialists, during which I’ve worked with just about every kind of flooring and finish available. Through Raven, I put that knowledge to work for you.
Our attitude
We’re the most accountable, hands-on hardwood flooring company you’re likely to find. Jason (or Arthur) is present at every job from estimate to project completion. We don’t believe in cutting corners, half-ass attitudes, or an “it's good-enough” mentality. We take responsibility for our work and consider ourselves craftsmen. We respect your home or business and know that when we do a good job, it enhances your company or your living space.
Our capabilities
Raven Hardwood Flooring can handle projects of all sizes and complexity: from single rooms to large commercial spaces, laminate floors to intricate patterns and inlays, sanding and refinishing of old flooring to repair work.
Peace of mind
Raven is fully insured and registered with the State of Minnesota Labor Board. But, we consider our customer's satisfaction our true measuring stick. Here are a few reviews by some of our clients:
