Pine and fir floors
A word of caution: pine and fir are very soft. This is not an ideal floor for your home if you have dogs or kids! That being said, reclaimed varieties are more durable and show less wear and tear. Another bonus? Pine handles variances in climate really well (it's perfect in our lovely Minnesota weather). Pine and fir have great character and a comforting old world feel. It's the ideal floor for your summer cabin up north.
